Our Braille Slugs, also known as Braille Patches, are great for temporary signs or other uses. Each custom braille label measures 1/2" tall (.55) by the required length (maximum 6" wide, not to exceed 25 characters and spaces.) Braille plaques and patches have Grade 2 braille made from clear "rasters" or acrylic spheres inserted into 1/16" thick polymer material. Over 32 color options for braille labels. Thin clear double faced adhesive tape on backside is included for mounting. Note you may order clear patches, however the clear tape wrinkles, bubbles and imperfections will show through. Characters and spaces not to exceed 25. Call us for larger braille patches and pricing.

Note: Custom braille signs, plaques, labels, slugs, and patches do NOT meet ADA requirements for ADA Signs, and are strictly for non-ADA purposes or for temporary situations. ADA signs generally require braille to be on the same level and "integral" with the sign face. Check with your local inspector or governing authorities for compliance before use of braille slugs or patches.
