ALL GENDER / GENDER NEUTRAL RESTROOM SIGNS Many states and cities have laws pertaining to single occupancy restrooms to ensure that individuals of any gender feel welcome to use such facilities. California passed Assembly Bill 1732. which requires that all single-occupancy restrooms display neutral restroom signs indicating non-gender specific universally accessible bathrooms. More specifically AB 1732 requires single occupancy restrooms in California businesses, government buildings and places of public accommodation to be universally accessible to all genders by March 1, 2017. Gender neutral restroom signs, or all gender restroom signs, are becoming more and more common in commercial buildings, college campuses and other educational and public buildings across the United States and Canada. We have put together a comprehensive assortment of ADA compliant gender neutral restroom signs in 37 color options, to accommodate most any need or requirement.
